Villa Tulumba, also known as the Villa of the Valley of Tulumba, in the heart of the Province of ,Cordoba, is a little known Colonial Village over 300 years since its foundation. With just over 1000 souls it boasts a Cathedral and Colonial buildings dating back to the era of the Spanish Conquest. Known as well as a "open air" Museum due to its typical colonial architecture and cultural activities from Religious Tourism , Folk Fares, horse racing and Gaucho reunions. Artist love this area due to a special light at dawn and sunset for painting outside.
